Free People long sweater, vintage white dress with yellow rick rack detail, gray sweater leggings, UO hunter green rain boots.
The best part about dreary, rainy days like today are getting to wear my favorite green rain boots. They just make splashing about in puddles so much more fun!
My good friend Leigh Germy and I spent the day together today shopping and catching up. She is not only an amazing photographer but she cuts hair as well! The hair situation has been bad for awhile, sort of stuck in that stage where you either keep going through the awkward part and grow it out, or just take a leap and cut it off.
So we cut… a lot.
Loving my new do and I suppose I’ll just be wearing more girly things in the coming days to balance out such a boyish cut!
Hoping you’re staying warm and dry wherever you are.

I spotted this bright red dress in my closet today and decided it absolutely had to be worn. Trouble is… it’s winter outside! So I simply put on a pair of tights, pulled on my favorite big leather boots and a cozy sweater on top.
Being a tomboy most of my life, wearing dresses is a new endeavor for me. Since my hair was recently shorn into a more boyish cut I have been wearing skirts and dresses all the time! It seems to make donning a dress and heels okay if you have short hair.
The dress is 100% silk made by Kimchi & Blue, the taupe sweater is (believe it or not) from Old Navy, and the Betsey Johnson beanie was a recent Christmas gift. My leather boots are from Urban Outfitters and made by BDG.
My last name means maker of bows & arrows so I love finding interesting jewelry that has the two. I spotted the arrow wrap ring at Urban Outfitters & quickly added it to my collection. The love knot ring was a gift from my sweet mom and is from an Etsy store.
Etsy is a fantastic way to find unique jewelry and even vintage clothing. I encourage you to go support small businesses and buy all that your heart desires in the thousands of little stores they have on the site!
My style is all about being comfortable, cute and affordable. You may catch me perusing through your local thrift store sometime!
